Facemash is a Facebook Clone using a Ruby on Rails backend with a React frontend. The website allows for friending and posts and is on ongoing project soon to include comments and likes.
Utilizing the power of Open AI, Socrates is a learning aid that allows users to generate quizzes on any topic at either a beginner, intermediate or advanced level. It was made using the MERN Stack and there are plans to add features, such as answer explanations with a flash card UI.

In his time with us, Omar exhibited multiple characteristics that will make him excel in anything he puts his mind to: He has a strong work ethic, persisting in any task assigned to him, putting in overtime when necessary. I never had to request something, or tell him something, more than once.

Having gone through the Bridge Program myself and continuing with the Masters, I recognized early on in Omar the characteristics necessary to not only complete a Masters such as that provided at NYU, but to excel and be successful in it as well. The purpose of the Bridge Program is to assess a candidate's readiness for a Masters and Omar was quick to learn both the math and coding elements of the course, to the point that he finished in the top of his class, completing the course with distinction.

One particular, very challenging customer renewal stands out to me that I think encapsulates Omar’s key attributes. Firstly, was his level of maturity in this high pressure, time sensitive, stressful situation and the fact that he never lost his composure. Being on the account management team at an insurance brokerage, we essentially liaison between the various internal and external stakeholders while lending our insight and experience to the clients. Omar’s communcation and social skills allowed him to seamlessly link the stakeholders to ensure that our renewal was completed without a lapse in coverage.
